The Ravena Rescue Squad Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ambulance service whose mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality Basic and Advanced Emergency Medical Services and ambulance transport 365 days a year to the residents of the Town of Coeymans, Town of New Baltimore, and Village of Ravena, as well as travelers on our assigned section of the New York State Thruway.
We are equally committed to strengthening community health and safety through public education, offering certified training in CPR, first aid, and other life-saving techniques. Our service area spans over 70 square miles along the western shore of the Hudson River in southern Albany and northern Greene County.
In addition to 24/7 emergency response, we offer community training programs and event standby coverage.

Recognize and control life-threatening bleeding using tourniquets and wound packing.
Comprehensive babysitter training - safety, child care, first aid, and rescue skills.
The Ravena Rescue Squad has enrolled in the BLS I-GEL Advanced Airway pilot program and BLS EKG program, expanding the tools and techniques available to our EMTs in the field.
